With close to thirty years of experience, Ekin acts on complex domestic and on cross-border M&A deals, corporate advisory and strategic investment transactions, shareholder arrangements and disputes.
Her clients are active in a wide range of sectors including energy, logistics, financial services/Fintech, steel, construction and retail. Her experience extends to compliance and regulatory risk, including sanctions (OFAC and EU), anti-corruption frameworks and white-collar matters. In these areas, she supports boards and senior management in navigating sensitive and often high-stakes issues.

- Representation of a leading energy company in its acquisition of 100% shares of one of Türkiye’s largest hydroelectric power plants.
- The acquisition of 40% of the shares of the largest retail company in Turkey by a prominent Turkish holding company.
- Representation of an international shipping logistics corporation in strategic international contracts and regulatory matters.
- Acquisition of numerous real estate projects, tourism agencies and entertainment facilities by a globally leading tourism company.
- Representation of a private equity firm from the United Arab Emirates in connection with the acquisition of the shares of a Turkish company engaged in the fashion industry.
- Representation of a large Turkish holding in the sale of 70% of its shares in a mid-segment bank to the Gulf regions’ second-largest bank for a value of over US$460 m.
